Cracked British Edition was the version of Cracked published for the UK, initially by Byblos Productions. The early issues reprinted Cracked material from throughout the magazine's history, localized for the UK by changing references, jargon and spelling. Unlike Kaputt, the "German Cracked", Cracked British Edition did not feature any original material. By issue number 12, the contents began matching the concurrent US edition, as Major Magazines had taken over publication and simply began attaching an alternate cover (with British prices and numbering) to its domestic output. Within a year, the British numbering was also dropped and the only remaining difference was the price printed on the cover.
